Just want to say this is nothing new. Jimmy Carter put fckng solar panels on the WH and tried to pass all kinds of environmental legislation including requiring American made cars to achieve much higher mpg ratings. That right there is a major reason the Big 3 fell behind Japanese cars in the 80s-90s in terms of quality and reliability. Congress gave them 5 years in the late 70s to get it done so all the R&D money was spent on that and not on quality. Then there was Love Canal and the Superfund business.

Anyway, the climate change stuff has been on the table for decades. It's just that now they have social media platforms to skyscream about it and the far left has become 'normal' in the eyes of the media. In the late 60s-80s they were relegated to elitist university backrooms.
