Counterpoint. A lot of us know drinking alcohol is gonna kill us sooner rather than later, but we still do it.

It's very easy to believe humans change the Earth's climate, yet also do nothing to prevent it.

Steak and luxury vehicles are nice to have. Why should I care if humans in 100 years have to deal with summers 2° hotter? They should invent better ACs.

It's obvious the insurance companies aren't gonna let them live anywhere that is in danger of being wiped out. People will relocate and adapt.

I personally don't believe we need 8 billion humans on earth anyway.
