Staying off of Westheimer and it's been nonstop ambulance noise and Chargers revving. Some decent neighborhoods but they all seem to be a few blocks away from shitty, decaying apartment buildings.

Can’t you say this about a lot of places?

Why are you staying at a motel 6 again Darrell?

If there were a suburb that contained no apartments, I would live there. Renters. Ugh.

I only stay at the Four Seasons.

Well, Houston is closer to Mexico than most places in America!

I bring my wife to MD Anderson every 8 weeks. We spend a couple of nights with friends who live a couple of miles from the Medical Center.
We go out to eat and do whatever when we're not at appointments.
I never feel safe when we're out and about. No matter where we go.
I will say that the roads are shitty and navigation is a challenge even using WAZE, however I find the drivers to be exceedingly courteous.
It is a strange feeling to put on a blinker to change lanes and have someone actually let you in - or not race to cut you off. It's totally opposite in BR.
NEVER signal in any way that you want to change lanes here or you'll have to jockey to get over at the risk of getting road raged.
My experience is totally different there.
I find that strange every time we go.

This is just how most people feel when in unfamiliar places. Med center is interesting as well because there’s a mix of public and private hospitals. Plus the city has no zoning no laws on private property.

The galleria area blows. Only people who live over there with any money are try hard douches.
