It is fantastic. I think I like it better than the Jet Set games. There's more of an emphasis on platforming and tricks.
The soundtrack is a bit of a miss for me though. It's not bad, but it's not as good as either Jet Set game. Hideki Nagamura only composes a few tracks. There's also a relatively curious design choice where they lock specific songs to certain areas of the map, meaning there's only about 3-5 songs per area that play over and over again.
