People have also stewed about the omission of 2nd and 26, when IMO the 2012 SECCG is a better "honorable mention" anyways. 2nd and 26 felt like the start of something great for Georgia; 2012 was Richt's last best chance.
IMO Kansas State's 1998 loss to A&M is the only close second. Not as big of an upset (still, 17.5 is a big spread), but they controlled the game way more than WVU did against Pitt. mizzoubuckeyeiowa has posted several times about how much of a letdown for basically everyone not associated with A&M or FSU it was.
