IMO this is a great list; way better than the site's previous article on the matter. It seems like they focused more on games where programs whiffed on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity more than super-dramatic endings. The only entry I strongly disagree with is the MSU-Michigan botched punt, and that only comes in at #10 on the list.
Side note: 8 of these 10 are also on my personal list.

#1 Missouri losing to Oklahoma in the conference championship has gotta be up there

Most of those are great, but I don't know how they left out 5th Down and the Flea Kicker.
Mizzou had those games won, and they were taken away in two very different, but excruciating ways. Plus Colorado and Nebraska ended up winning national championships after those respective games.

#2 West Virginia losing at home to Pittsburgh
It was the last game of the season and that loss kept them out of the national title game. It has to be at the top.
ETA: fricking ads

Like I said, the list seems to focus on losses where programs just missed out on either winning their first title or first in generations.

Would think 1969 Arkansas loss to Texas gotta be up there.
Basically was the National Championship and still holds the record for the highest television ratings in the history of CFB.
They blew a 14 pt 4th quarter lead at home with Dick Nixon in the stands.

K state 1998
Just reviewing that season on Wikipedia. UCLA (#2) lost to Miami the same day as K State (#3) lost to aTm (12/5/1998). As a result, #4 FSU jumped to #2. I wonder which team would've been more likely to make the Fiesta Bowl vs Tennessee.

Probably UCLA. KSU was ahead in the polls and passed the "eye test" more than UCLA, but UCLA was performing better in the computers and computers had more weight in the early years of the BCS than the later years. Would've been something to have a 2004 Auburn-style controversy the first year of the BCS.

You said "whiffed on a once in a lifetime opportunity", which for Mizzou in those days, those kind of were. They hadn't beaten Nebraska since the late 70s, and CU rattled off 12 straight wins before Mizzou finally beat them, ironically in '97.

Whoever wrote that article is a moron of epic proportions to not even put it on the list
It's on the list. The last one.

I should've been more specific. By "once in a lifetime opportunity," I meant a national championship. 2007 and 2013 were those for Missouri, but it's not like they were heavy favorites in either CCG or lost in the final seconds.

Good point. West Virginia folks were almost certainly booking flights to NOLA

That Rutgers game was brutal

LSU's 1959 loss to Tennessee should be on that list.

Kick 6 was absolutely devastating as was the 2016 national title game with the last second TD by watson.
Most heartbreaking loss I’ve seen overall was probably 07 pats vs giants and that fluke helmet catch. Still can’t believe it

Boise State entered its late-season top-25 matchup against Nevada with a 24-game winning streak, a No. 4 BCS ranking and as strong a chance to play for the national championship as any team in the nation. A devastating loss, however, pushed the Broncos outside the BCS altogether as they fell to the Las Vegas Bowl. Boise State held a 17-point lead over the Wolf Pack at halftime and had multiple chances to put the game on ice even with Nevada staging a furious comeback, but typically-reliable kicker Kyle Brotzman missed two chip-shot field goals at the end of regulation and in overtime, helping the Wolf Pack sneak out a three-point win.
No mention of the QB that orchestrated that 17 point comeback...

Not college but as a Panthers fan nothing beats SB50.
