Probably need to wait till cuts from other teams
Those backups are likely better than some of saints current backups
Maybe you can find one or two depth pieces

It's thin but I don't think it is cut down day O-Lineman are going to be better. Right now I have it:

Trevor Penning Andrus Peat
James Hurst Nick Saldiveri
Erik McCoy Max Garcia
Cesar Ruiz Calvin Throckmorton
Ryan Ramczyk Storm Norton

I think we keep 8-9. Peat & Saldiveri gets the 6th & 7th spot so it's Garcia, Throckmorton, Norton, & Landon Young fighting for a 8th & 9th spot. Not great but unlikely anybody better will be cut loose. O Lineman depth is a league wide problem.

If they have an eye on someone who might get cut might want to trade a 7th for him instead of waiting on waivers.

Yeah we’re not going to FA. It’ll be a guy already on the team

Didn't realize Throckmorton played center. Hopefully these guys can stay healthy.

The issue is that the backups you named are a guy who cant stay healthy and a rookie lower rounder pick.
Our starters have also shown some injury concerns. I hope that isnt the case.

Staff loves Landon Young, he’s not going anywhere

Starting 5 will be Penning/Hurst/McCoy/Ruiz/Ramczyk
I don't think we're as thin as most people do, but that depends on Peat's injury. But I think the 6-8 slots as backups to have Andrus Peat, Calvin Throckmorton and Landon Young is pretty good and all 3 give you versatility between tackle and guard. Peat & Throck both have legit starting experience and all 3 have been in our system for multiple years now. Also somebody mentioned Throck playing some center, I didn't know that but if so that also helps his case even more

I give Landon Young the 8th spot over Max Garcia assuming that if an injury were to happen McCoy in game they would slide Ruiz over to C for the duration of that game. Or possibly Throck if he plays C

I expect Saldiveri and all rookies to improve from 1st ever NFL game to the next one, but Sunday he looked very bad. Got pushed back in run blocking beat in pass protection, he looked slow and was standing up too much, looked like a UDFA honestly. He would likely be on practice squad.
Storm Norton is another I think is not ready yet but the Saints will probably want to keep on practice squad to develop
