I did not cuss. First and foremost I will work on that.
So is this modification to keep water flowing while it’s filling if you open it only or to be able to open it at any time during the complete cycle?

Basically, what it does, is it tricks the washer into thinking the lid is always closed. I like peeking in there from time time when its washing clothes to ensure the clothes are turning over properly. It also gives me the red arse when the water stops when I open the lid.
My wife is notorious for loading enough clothes in there to warm the Siberian army. You don't get good turnover and agitation with a shite ton of (overloaded) clothes in the tub.
