I was reminded with BG3 recently, how well fleshed out are the side quests in Witcher 3.

BG3 is similar.

Those games have ruined mindless fetch and escort missions in games. Fallout 2 is another one.

You even have side quests with linking missions and effect on the main story.

If you skip the side quests in any of the above 3 games, you are robbing more than half the game from yourself.
