I'm gonna need it one day. My dad, brother and sister all had to have 2 fused together. We all have it in our neck vertebra. My brother and sister both are glad they got the surgery, but both had a bit of a hard time with it.
Brother said mostly that there was 0% relief for a long time. He felt like it didn't feel any different at all. Until one day he realized it was indeed better and never hurt again.
His also herniated. He said that part was so excruciating. Mine is still in the bulging phase. Been able to avoid tweaking it for like... a couple years now.
DAMN when I do it cripples me, though.
