Bills vs Jets in Buffalo a couple years back. It was in the 20’s and the wind was whipping pretty good. While the field was clear, it snowed the night before, so all the seats were filled with snow.

The coldest game I’ve been to was the Shreveport Independence Bowl with ULM playing Ohio.

I was sick and it was flipping cold!

2013 Texas-Baylor Football game, last game at Floyd Casey. Cold, wet, and miserable; 23 degrees and windy. Good thing BU won 30-10.

I attended the Saints v Browns game in Cleveland last season. I believe it was the coldest game in Browns history. 6 degrees at kickoff with a 20+ mph wind.

Probably Troy 2008. I remember desperately buying a Papa John's pizza because it was the only warm thing left after they ran out of hot chocolate.

It was an LSU - Utah game. Last game of the season. 1974 or 1976. Froze my butt off in Tiger Stadium.

The LSU Band put out an album that year. The picture on the cover was a shot of the stadium taken that night. Of all the games for them to pick. Instead of the usually full and festive Tiger Stadium, it showed empty seats and a few people wrapped up in blankets because it was about 30 degrees out there.

CU vs K State -in Boulder -I think mid-November 1996. Both top 10 teams. 8 pm kickoff approximately -10 below zero at kickoff.

2008 Alabama vs. Mississippi State. It started sleeting in the fourth quarter. That was a very long walk back to the dorm.

2010 Liberty Bowl. Arkansas vs Eastern Carolina. 29 degrees but the wind was swirling, brought down the chill factor to 10 degrees. No sun, objective pain in the fingers and toes, lots of trash can fires that didn’t help much. Thought the nightmare was over with 3 seconds left, then East Carolina’s kicker missed the field goal. Even though the crowd was most Hog fans, they still gave a collective, expiring groan worthy of a Cormac McCarthy novel.

Independence Bowl 1997.

I believe it was 30F at kickoff.

It was colder than LSU-ND in South Bend on Nov 21, 1998. Kickoff temp was 38F.

Chiefs vs Broncos in 2005 at Arrowhead. We sat like 10 rows from the top and it was like 30 degrees at kickoff. It was the 3:30 game so it got down to the low 20s after the sun went down and it was like 15-20 mph winds the whole game. It was a hell of a game but it was miserably cold.
