Just genuinely curious since my youngest plays soccer and I’m trying to justify the price. He plays CB and he always picks out the most generic cleats for the season.

I guess I look at them like dress shoes. Sure you can spend like $160 on Johnston & Murphy and have a good shoe but then when you put on some Allen Edmonds or Magnanni’s and you’re like wow okay yes I get it

Good a CB should have black umbros, maybe a white tongue if he's feeling adventurous, but no more.
