Given your username, I think it always has to be in Europe, preferably outdoors. The crowds are just ... different. I wanted to try Donnington, but was convinced not to by a Brit. I just saw Iron Maiden in Barcelona, and it was nutso good, compared to watching it at Cynthia Woods Mitchell in Houston.
Next year, Metallica in Warsaw!

I guess this outs me as a small timer, but the Texas Club in Baton Rouge is a hell of a venue.
