Does it really matter when they play week one?
Every poll I've seen have both in top ten, some with FSU higher.
It's not like it's the first playoff ranking.

I don't disagree and I understand "ifs and buts".

I only reference that as evidence that FSU NEEDED LSU to have 4 relatively significant, highly unlikely errors/injuries.

"IF" that game happens ten times, those 4 "issues" probably happen 6-7 times total.


If the argument is "FSU won last year's game and the teams seem to be similarly-talented so they should be ranked higher", I think it is fair to point out HOW FSU won and that those assists that LSU handed them are not very likely to happen again.


I really don't understand how my post got so many downvotes, unless there's just an incredible number of dudes who sorely lack reading comprehension skills.
