Anyone think there will be a reverse trend at some point? A push to start going back in to work?

There already is.

Of course WFH jobs are growing quicker...they are generally more desirable. The problem is, once those companies realize the issues with WFH and start requiring them to come in to work, the employees will quit and move to another WFH opportunity. And then this cycle repeats itself until the idea corrects itself.

I've WFH for the last 13 years, for some quite large tech companies during that time. It's nothing new, just new for some companies recently.

I've also been laid off for not wanting to relocate to an office location to appease a VP that wanted all team members together in one location...not just the WFH people, but also employees working at another company site. That company has since reversed that position when they were having issues hiring new employees.
