Any of you baws still play? I'm new to it (only been playing a couple of months). Currently in Gold 2-3, which is embarrassing, but it is what it is.

That game looks insane. I saw play by play commentary video on YouTube and it blew my mind. The game play and the commentary.

I play a good bit at night to wind down before I go to sleep. It's quite an addicting and fun game. Been playing for probably 9 months on and off by now and currently a diamond in duos only playing with randos. It's frustrating that one game I get a solid teammate and we wreck shite, then the next I get a complete fricktard who belongs in silver lobbies that throws up the "What a save!" shite after every goal.
I'd be down to play, but we would probably get high Plat to low diamond opponents, so idk if you're ready for that, but I honestly don't know how their matchmaking works and if they would pull gold lobbies if im your duo.
I remember how frustrating it was working my way up from bronze to gold and then plat to diamond. Especially being new to the game, there is a very noticeable skill difference from gold to Plat, then Plat to diamond, etc.

Game is fun but can be frustrating to play solo. Duod/triod with some friends to champ last season.
The skill gap between upper diamond/low champ and upper champ is pretty big lol

I hit Champ in the original season 5 before EG took over and have hardly touched it since. That grind burned me out for a loooong time. I'll hop on with friends every now and again but I'm nowhere near as good as I was. I'd probably barely hold mid diamond at this point.
It's crazy how much better as a whole the community has gotten since then. Some of that is going F2P and releasing the smurf flood, but I see low gold players doing things you wouldn't even think to try until highish plat pre EG acquisition.

Still going strong since 2015. I've been hard stuck at Champ II for a while now, but it's still my favorite game.

I don’t play anymore but I’ve been GC for a long time. Never tried to grind for SSL as I play maybe 10 matches per year.
