Pence was always pro-establishment. Trump was just blinded by the brief period where pence kissed his arse.
It's like Graham. Graham is kissing trump's arse now, and trump seems to have forgotten that Graham is horrible. So that when Graham shits on trump in the future, trump will acted shocked and surprised.
