This! I think Trump knows what is ahead for him, and has chosen to embrace it. He's old and going out in a blaze of martyrdom for the System which gave him an extraordinary ride would be his greatest accomplishment.

Re "whining", I have never seen him look anything other that defiant. The Lord Jesus Christ was likely to look very beat down and a 'whiner' when he cried out to His Father "My God, why hast thou forsaken me"...but in spirit, he was as committed and true as the Light.

Honestly, it always takes some martyrs to really amp up the blowback against those who enable, approve and commit said martyrdom.

It's coming. Sooner that many think.
