I wondered about the insurance part. I just figured he was a hustler, in a good way. He was talking about some house he looked at recently and made a comment about how one of the richest people in the country owns it. I didn't realize PBD had that kind of money. All of that said, I like what he does with the pod. His sidekicks are kind of annoying, though.
