Fad or not, my bidet changed my life. No more hemorrhoids, no more itchy arse, no more running out of toilet paper. I too was hesitant the first time I used one, thinking it had to be for the gays, but I was wrong. Now when I go somewhere and have to shite without one, I feel like a caveman. Mine has a spray setting for normal shits, and a jet setting for that stay behind mud. Jet mode tickles your prostate a little
