Surely they will get a large neighborhood like that up before Friday.

We have an older lady in one of our rentals in Goodwood and I called her when I read this and her address switched over to 10pm tomorrow a couple of hours ago. I offered to pay for a room for her but she didn't want to leave. I really hope she gets power on soon, this is surprising to me given the fairly low number of outages yesterday. I assume there must be a piece of equipment that is the issue. Anyone know the cause?

Anecdotally, I was over there today looking in on older relatives this am and then bringing them some gas after work.

Both trips, 9hrs apart, there was a mass of Entergy trucks on Elizabeth by the high school working on several different parts of the high transmission line that runs through there.

My guess is that’s the issue—whatever it is. Because there were 8 Entergy trucks there, and nowhere else in the neighborhood despite trees and smaller lines down everywhere.

That's a hell of a deal. I don't understand why old people are so damn stubborn.
