Yep. Our go to beach is Walton Rocks on Hutchinson Island. It is quiet, with beautiful water and is an off leash dog park. That's even further south, but close to where I live (Tradition area of Port St Lucie).
A lot of Louisiana folks never venture over to the Atlantic side, so this is a good opportunity. I too, prefer the quieter, less commercial vibe of the Treasure/Space coast. It's too far south for most people to drive down from GA, AL, MS, and LA, and too far north of Miami for folks to drive up. That means no congestion and quiet beaches... Works for me.
