Verlander has intangibles that are priceless. He's leadership, and he's a voice that Brown and France can turn to other than Maldonado.

I’d go ahead and call up singleton… don’t see a point in kessinger sitting here when Dubon can handle backing up the infield. Makes almost as much sense as starting dubon in the outfield when we already have two backup outfielders on roster
