I saw some underserved youth take a couple of shots at a cop in Atlanta about 7 years ago. I had just graduated from LSU and was tooling with starting my own landscape business. I got a contract from a family friend to clean up an industrial lot in south atlanta he rented out to film crews. A lot of scenes from Stranger Things were actually filmed here which was cool. Anyways one day my crew and I are working and we hear a cop car coming towards us. Another car speeds in ahead of the coo car and crashed into a telephone poll about 40 feet from me. He gets out of the car no older than 19 and looks at me. I was up on an elevated 15 foot concrete ledge so I didn’t have to worry about this guy running towards me. He then looks towards the cop car and pulls out a high caliber revolver and squeezes off 3 shots at the car. He then turned and hop the fence of this lot across the street from me. I hit the deck after the first shot but saw everything. I called into 911 to report what I saw and where the guy went. Eventually another cop car rolls up to the lot to take my info down and get a statement. They said if they caught the guy I would be contacted to testify in court. Despite all of this and a police helicopter they never caught the guy.
