Say what you want about the transfer portal.. It is a second option to fill a hole in our case. Our hole is here due to lack in consistency in signing instate cbs.

Go ahead and add PP7.

DBU wasn’t built off instate DBs.

Mo Claiborne, Tre White, and Stingley not withstanding

Please explain to me how you force kids who want to play OOS to stay home?

You don’t force them; you convince them. And this staff is doing a poor job convincing in-state DBs to stay.

What about Mcbryde and Johnson? Jackson and Welch? You frickers harp on 2-3 players and ignore the other siginings. Matthew’s hasn’t done shite at A&M, Williams will be a frosh and Mack isn’t even signed.

I think people forget that Kelly has to rekindle relationships which were hurt during the final years of the previous coach. If we are consistently contenders and this happens I would agree. Not until then.

if this were 5-10 years ago and it was post signing day and Mack signed with another school, sure. there would be concern.

But I agree with this comment that the game has changed with the portal. let the 2023 season play out and see what happens for signing day.

Did this stupid bitch really say we're grasping for hope and then name 2 all American cornerbacks?

Please tell me again that ZY and Deuce are more than us just crossing our fingers and hoping for the best. Tell me again Wardell Mack does not matter.

Fake arse LSU fans have lost touch with what a real team looks like. Again, carry on with your delusion.

That's why LSU is in the position it's in right now. Waving away top talent not going to LSU and you got this transfer toilet bowl you HAVE to do.

Make up your mind. Are you talking about transfers or fresh recruits?

Wardell Mack would be the 3rd best corner in LSU's 2024 class, and his family is ignoring Frank Wilson's calls.

frick him.

They're not waving it away. LSU is actively recruiting Mack even though we have 2 better cb's committed.

Mack's dumbass family is just ignoring Wilson's calls.

I get your concern. But with the portal, don’t lose sleep over it.

i tend to agree... i think they have a 8 win season this year and we go to the SEC title game again and i think hes done... their DC isnt going to stick around..

I wouldn't lose sleep over it but with the portal we are grabbing shitty Nicholls, Southeastern, Marshall, McNeese etc transfers to replace these highly rated studs. shite is a recipe for disaster as you've seen in week 1.

Well we got 3 freshmen safeties and 2 cb's in this last class.

We should still have Zy, Duce, and Denver next year.

We still have Welch and Jordan Allen from 2022, and Brooks might stay.

We still have Sage and Langlois from 2021, and Burns might just stay.

We've got 2 safeties and 4 cb's committed for 2024.

If we actually get development, next year is when we should start to see the secondary look more like itself.

Which is good, because while OP and some nerds are shittin their panties over DB the defensive line is the real problem.

Well maybe this is a problem. Maybe replacing these freaks from Louisiana with a D2 all conference 5-9 corners isn't a successful strategy

We're not replacing Wardell Mack with a transfer. We got 2 better corners before Mack committed elsewhere.

When Mack flakes on Florida because they're trash, maybe there will still be room in our class for him.

Dabo went right into Bama and pulled out a 5 star DT. Went right into Texas and pulled out a 5 star WR. Would you say Texas and TAMU didn't have the money to get that WR? Would you say Bama sucks for not keeping that DT in state? Bama lost a top 50 DL recruit and a 5 star recruit on DL from the state to Clemson, and they still pulled in the highest rated class of all time.

No matter what you do, some kids just want to leave the state. Van Pran is one.

Bates for sure. Evans maybe, idk

I’d also venture to say that McBryde is a better S than Mack, which I believe is what LSU was recruiting him as
