re: How does your group choose tees?

My group of four, 61 - 66 years old, play 2 sets of tees. Two play 6200+/- and two play 5800+/- yards. None of the group want to hit just wedges or just long irons/hybrids into greens, driver distance. Cold and/or wet weather influence choice. Also, we would like to play a round between 3.5 to 4 hours and have scores that are reasonable for our skill levels and expectations, course rating. So there are several components to our decision on which tees.
