it's like he has great ideas for the beginning of shows but, then can't figure out how to close it out.

He's creatively bankrupt because he got overextended by signing on for too many shows/projects as part of that huge deal he signed with Paramount/Viacom.
If he wrote a film every 2-3 yrs, he'd probably still be putting out pretty decent stuff, but now he's gone down the rabbit hole of himself snd didn't find much there.
