Sound of Freedom earned more than Mission Impossible this weekend

What's even more impressive is it was showing in 1,000 fewer theaters.

Go "right-wing, Qanon-adjacent," go dope.

That’s actually crazy. “Sound of Freedom” is killing it for its budget, and it’s also a good movie.

Mission Impossible has been a huge disappointment at the box office. It was on pace to make less than The Little Mermaid

MI i think spends most of the budget on the movie rather than marketing. its a gift and a curse in that the movies will always be excellent, but it wont get the hype/coverage it deserves

MI's release date was one of the absolute worst possible with the Barbenheimer behemoth coming just 1 week later.
The studio basically bet on somewhat original content flopping and Indy 5/Disney being a mega hit.
Instead, Indy will be the biggest box office bomb for Disney behind only John Carter (maybe) and Barbenheimer will swallow everything for the next 2-3 wks.... Except Sound of Freedom... Which could even have legs for another month.
Very very stupid move by Cruise and the studio.

They’re astroturfing the hell out of this movie.
Who is? What studio is buying theater seats for this movie?
No one who calls this a "QAnon" movie can be believed about anything they say about this movie.
ETA: Imagine honestly believing Rebekah Jones about anything. She is the Florida "whistleblower" who totally lied about Florida's COVID dashboard. Only absolute fringe leftist lunatics take her seriously about anything. She is a proven liar. Here's a great article about the lunatic BowlJackson is trying to get you to believe.

All you have to do is look up the MANY videos on TikTok and twitter of “sold out” shows being empty, or close to it.
You don’t have to believe what I say, use your eyes, or keep your head in the sand. Makes no difference to me

No, I don't have to do that at all. There is no one buying out theaters for this movie.

No.
I prefer my fantasy movies with elves, wizards, dwarves, and magic.

Local churches in my area have. Bought it out for anyone who wants to show up. They literally display a QR code at the end of the movie so you can “pay it forward” by buying tickets for someone else to use, even though they mostly likely won’t be used

Those tickets have to be claimed on their website. People have to actually request them. They aren't asking people to buy out specific seats.
ETA: I already destroyed your lies in this thread. Go back to believing Rebekah Jones is a solid source of information.

So all someone has to do is click a button online to claim them. They don’t have to show up to the box office to claim them. Interesting

so her 13 yr old son did something dumb, as 13 yr old kids do that has exactly what to do with the right wing trying to lie about how successful this movie is? You’re a clown, bro

Oh...I'm the clown? You probably should have read past the headline.

Jones in 2020 accused the DeSantis administration of trying to cover up the extent of the pandemic and firing her for refusing to falsify numbers to minimize the scale of the outbreak. Last year, a state inspector general report said her claims were “unsubstantiated” and Covid-19 data was not falsified.
quote:
December 2020, state police executed a search warrant at Jones’ home while investigating whether she accessed a state messaging system without authorization to call for state officials to speak out about Covid-19 deaths. She was ultimately charged with one count of offenses against users of computers, computer systems, computer networks and electronic devices. In December, Jones agreed to admit guilt and pay a $20,000 fee in a pretrial deferred prosecution agreement.

So a Desantis appointed state official claimed that someone speaking out against Desantis was a liar? Gotcha
