Keith Thibodeaux from Opelousas High School and Louisiana Tech University. Just an infant when he played at Tech in the 1970's, but Dave Nitz the voice of the Bulldogs for the last 50 years considers him the best overall athlete to ever play at Tech.
Keith played football and baseball at Tech and lead the football team to a couple Independence Bowls in the late 70's as the quarterback. He also was an outstanding baseball pitcher for Tech and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 3rd round of the 1980 draft.
Sadly, Keith passed away two years ago. Does anyone here remember him at Opelousas High School in the 1970's. I would imagine he broke many records considering how well he did at Tech.
