I just rewatched this movie after reading American Prometheus, and I'm honestly shocked at how accurate this was. While it was no doubt a herculean achievement to make this subject matter into a compelling movie, Nolan didn't actually need to dramatize very much. Direct quotes made up a pretty significant portion of the dialogue.

I couldn't help but think about the Imitation Game when I watched this. While I really like that movie, it took a lot of liberties with the history. This movie didn't have that problem.

Huh, now that I think about it - those two movies are almost pretty exact of one another.

Granted I haven’t watched the Imitation Game in a while but you had me thinking about the parallels in both movies
