Right - it was much more a look at Robert Oppenheimer, his struggles, his inner conflict, and his ultimate railroading.
As far as the scenes with the gadget itself exploding (without giving too much away just yet), I really liked how they pulled that off.

I don't think there is a better actor in the world to show his internal guilt than Cillian. In most scenes he didnt even have to speak. Just the look on his face was enough
