I didn’t see it in IMAX. Just curious, how would that really change the quality of the movie? I agree that Oppenheimer should win nearly every award it’s up for….including cinematography….but it’s not some visual extravaganza with cool action scenes like Inception, Interstellar, or The Dark Knight.

I feel the same as you. Honestly didn’t feel like I missed out on anything . It didn’t look shrunken or “off” or anything. It just looked like a normal movie to me

whatever these tell you...
Nolan says that 70mm film has the best overall image vs digital. i guess imagine going to a true IMAX documentary at a museum that would be in 70mm IMAX, and that's what you would've gotten for Oppenheimer. it appears that most of it is resolution based. not to mention the audio being different.
