Many years back when I was considering medical school, I shadowed a urologist for a day. I asked him why he chose urology, and he said he makes $400k/year, works normal business hours, and is finished for the week by noon on Friday.
I wasn’t sure what to make of his response, but it didn’t sell me on dealing with dicks and assholes all day.
(He was himself an a-hole FWIW)

I'd say that's the exception and not rule.
Most of the urologist I know are pretty down to earth and jovial, the kinda guys that you look forward to sharing a drink with, going fishing with, etc.
And most are pretty damn funny. A good sense of humor goes a long a long way when you're dealing with dicks and buttholes all day long.
