That is a good point. I was just thinking about it from the LSU fan perspective rather than how he compared to other QBs in the game now.

But I think you bring up another good point about Myles. He was throwing for 300/400 yds, but we were losing. Even when JD wasn't throwing for tons of yards, he was able to make plays to keep us in games & win most of them.

You just have to take him for what he is. He’s a really good college quarterback that has his flaws, as do 99% of college quarterbacks. Is he good enough to win a championship? I think so, but he’s going to need some help.

Neither Miles nor Daniels play defense. It was a lack of defense that ruined the Miles led team.

And while offensive styles evolve, thus rendering stats across different eras faulty, one thing doesn’t change - wins vs losses. JD led LSU to an SEC West title. That means something. First year head coach, first year at a school running a new offense, JD did a hell of a job. Looking forward to watching him this season with a year under his belt.
