Barn Find: A lot of folks would normally get excited over a car that saw sales of maybe 74 copies. But this one is a Yugo, one of the most maligned automobiles of the 1980s. They were notorious for their poor build quality, and yet 140,000 of them were imported (when was the last time you saw one?). This example is the rare convertible model, only offered in 1990, and while it runs, it’s going to need a lot of work. Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, this drop-top project is available here for $3,400

Story: When I was stationed in Jax I was crossing the Buckman bridge (I-295) and saw someone walking opposite direction. As I crested the rise halfway across lo and behold there was a Yugo burning up in all its glory. I think they sold new at $3,999

Here's a 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 for $27k. Save yourself $23k for insurance, repairs, etc.

Hagerty says it's worth $24,500

Classic cars, like crypto, appreciated with the inflation in the system. So, doubtful.

87 grand National or 93 5.0 cobra mustang. Can’t go wrong with a 80’s f250 or 911 like others suggest.

Try an antique car show or gathering especially if it is not to be regular transportation. Some people put a lot of love into those cars. Prices very in the extreme.

, I almost pulled the trigger on a 1968 Camaro RS/SS. It was beautiful, black with the silver stripes. I think it was about $34k at the time.

I’m looking for a 1968 Camaro RS/SS now. I’m setting my budget limit at $55k. It’s some out there. But they definitely going up in price.

Do you want it in pristine condition? Cause if you want to put some work into it, you'll find one in budget.

I'd rather do that anyways, make thongs how I want as I go.

I don't know if they've peaked yet but Lancer Evo IXs are fetching a pretty penny and they're no longer being made.

For $50k or less you can get a completely restored 64.5 to 66 Mustang GT. They aren't appreciating very much but they sure aren't going down either.

The most correct answer is a early pagoda.

‘64-‘67 230 SL

$50-$60k spent right will get you a piece of art.
