That injury fricked him. He looked like a future GOAT at the end of his freshman season.

I thought so too, but in retrospect there were glaring weaknesses that we should have seen. I don’t ever remember him catching a competitive ball. Surely he did, but he does not get up in the air and win battles. All of his productivity came from getting wide open, which really isn’t a thing in the NFL.

Was the injury Boutte had a torn achilles? I know it was a foot issue.

Achilles injuries are brutal for recovery. I know this first hand!
