Signed up for some away football tickets for Mizzou. Ended up paying face value for some upper deck tickets ($80 each for section 301) when the actual going value will be much less for that game. Couldn’t have been that hard for LSU to find lower bowl seats?

Teams are only required to provide a finite amount of lower bowl tickets for visiting fans. If you knew when you requested tickets for that game that the secondary market would be cheaper than face value, why wouldn't you just do that from the beginning instead of going through the LSU ticket office?

The host school determines the seating locations for the visitors. Generally the lower seats are used for the band, students, players and coaches families, etc. The remainder are generally located in the upper deck.

You’ll have to decide if face value upper deck tickets are a better deal than slightly cheaper lower bowl tickets with a 20% service fee up-charge.

I don't think you know what a scam is.

I don't think you know what face value is.

I don't think you understand how away game tickets are allotted to visiting teams.

Perhaps you are just a dumbass maybe?

Never worth it unless you're in the top 5% of priority points or love sitting in the worst seats in the house

9/10 if I am going to an away game I just go through Stub Hub. Yes, you may pay a little more but you can sit where YOU Choose!

For games like that it’s always better to get tickets the week of the game. For bigger games (Bama) it’s better to buy face value. Learn economics and you’ll see which games the face value is too big.

How exactly is that a scam? Sounds like you want the security of knowing you have tickets but want to pay the price that taking a risk and waiting will produce. What an entitled mentality

Are you really this clueless? LSU sell away tickets based on what the other University gives them, they have zero control over where they are.

Is your name Karen by any chance?
