Northwestern was just in the B1G Championship Game vs Ohio State in 2018 and 2020...So lets not act like its been 10-20 years or something. NW is a tough place to play at...just like Stanford.

How about Mark Dantonio, Jim Tressel, Rich Rodriguez, or a gamble on a young buck with nice name recognitin like former OSU LB James Laurinitas

Did they win the Big 10? No. There is a big arse difference between the B1G East and West. Northwestern 'can' compete in the B1G West if everything goes right, but a coach is NOT getting fired for not winning the B1G Championship as the poster suggested. Yeah, this isn't the late 70's to early 90's Northwestern, but it's still Northwestern.
