Im saying hindsight is 20/20. In looking back Miles did hedge his bet on RP. He may have made a run at somebody but when that somebody turned him down, he hired MALLAVETO. With RP running the O, He can hire these two guys. They have been with him for awhile, he obviously thought they could coach or he would not have hired them. Looks like a bad choice.

I think what many people miss is that Pelini's scheme was crap to begin with.
Yes, we won a NC last year. But, from the 2nd half of the SC game until the end of the year our D was abused. Once Dorsey went down, this was clearly a different D.
Fast forward to this year. Our DL has been worst than mediocre. We get NO pressure outside of Alem.
Plus, what even worst is that we kept the CO-DC's to keep things pretty much the same. But, confusion has reigned all year long with this D.

I think many of us thought that a 3 or 4 loss season was possible. But, in no way did we think we would get taken to the woodshed by Fla, Ga, and Ole Miss. Not to mention Troy hanging 30+ on us.
For all the faults that the O has, the D has been horrible just about all year.
