With all that being said his fatal flaw was relying on Ryan P.

We did
I think this season is a culmination of a lot of things....losing Pelini and not hiring a strong coordinator with a competent track record, a group of seniors who were the heart and sould of last year's team, losing RP, a team coming off a national championship season and that perhaps got complacent.
The season is almost over and the important part is how Miles reacts to it.
And I think fans would be a little less frustrated if they didn't hear Miles sugarcoat the problems we know are there.
We may have some hypercritical fans like SFP and some other fans who just bitch to bitch, but the decent fans can recognize when something isn't working. They may not have knowledge of what happens behind the scenes at practice and in meetings, but most of us know that the defense has been uncoordinated for most of the year.
