Just to piggyback on the divorce horror story thread.

I haven't yet, but at least one wife married the wrong guy.

When you were born. Sorry son.
Edit: Looks like Jim Beam beat me to it.

I’ll ask the wife. I would have had better things to do when I asked her out.

Really…. I guess I got lucky because Mrs. PJ is perfect for me… I put her through hell for many years before I wised up and quit drinking. Smooth sailing ever since.

Never. The secret I realized is all I can control is my actions, my reactions, and my perceptions. The perceptions are most powerful long term. You look for beauty, grace, kindness, etc in people and you can often help them find it where they didn’t even know it existed. Getting married is a lifelong commitment I made before God, if my wife is ever acting like the “wrong person” it’s my job to either accept it or help change it.

Is today the hate on women and marriage day for July on the OT? Seriously?

When the priest said:
“Do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together in holy matrimony, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"
And my next thought was ”How do I fake my death?”.

I don't think that many people find they married the "wrong" person. It just that the relationship and people in them can change over the course of years and the differences in scenarios that come about (children, career demands, etc).
It's not 100% accurate, but I think the saying that when a woman marries a man she thinks he will change, he doesn't, while when a man marries a woman he thinks she will never change, she does, is not totally off base. Staying together requires an understanding the relationship will change over time and, most importantly, a willingness to remain committed rather than bailing at the first sign of adversity.
You show me a long-time couple who says they've never thought about ending the relationship (even just silently) and I'll show you a couple of liars. But if you show me a long-time couple that is still together, I'll show you two people who prioritized honoring their commitment to each other no matter how rough things got from time to time.

We went to watch The Kings Speech.
I married the exact person for me. He's a sarcastic a-hole. But a perfect husband and father.

When she started sleeping with women

When did you realize you married the wrong person?
Well, after we got back home from the honeymoon I brought all the suitcases into the house. Mrs. Lucky asked me if I had gotten it all, to which I proudly replied,”Yes, dear!”
She said, “I don’t think so!” And dragged me to the car. She opened the trunk, and what do you know, there it was: All of her emotional baggage. She said,”Surprise!!!”
