Don't understand why y'all would vote for Trump over DeSantis

So here's the reasons posters on this board suggest and here's my rebuttals.
Oh yes the guy who put John Bolton, Bill Barr, Steve Mnuchin, Mitch McConnells wife in his cabinet. Such an outsider!
Wow, that makes so much sense let's renominate the guy who lost in 2020 and see if they don't do it again in 2024. Stellar thinking!!!
Yes, the guy who allowed states to shut down businesses and churches during Covid vs. the 1st guy to put an end to that.
Conclusion:
I don't understand why y'all would vote for Trump over DeSantis when Trump has no shot of winning the general and it's not like the alternative is Mitt Romney. It's a guy who holds 90% of his beliefs and is on paper more conservative. Elections are won by independents and suburbs and DeSantis clearly does better than Trump. And if you don't think so ask yourself why Brian Kemp defeated Stacy Abrams while Herschel Walker lost to Warnock.

Proven, demonstrated conservative. Has faults as do ALL candidates. Most if not ALL of his downside is the doing of the socialists and marxists (no more 'democrats' for me, just not who they are....so) it is the machintions of the hard left who have tarnished him for just this reason: they frankly FEAR HIM, as they know not only can he not be bought but he has the proven ability to mock them and overcome them. False asumption, TB. There was massive FRAUD and the Covid 'bomb' employed to take out a shew-in Trump win in '20. Just like the BS Jan. 6 Op, they cringe at examining/verifying the signatures and validity of all those harvested votes. Not to mention the Machines.
One basic reason for me...Ron must PROMISE to appoint a REAL Special Counsel to prosecute the criminals who carried out a coup attempt via the Crossfire Hurricane operation. I know Trump will have to take them on as they will not let him survive, much less "drain the swamp". Ron, I don't know, as he only has prosperity as an upcoming conservative politico in his resume.
And Trump had a stellar record last time, even given all the knives in the back from people who he believed to be on his team. DC is rotten to the core, and it will likely be God that "drains the swamp".
