We couldn’t get a freakin timely hit to save our life. We could have easily blown open game 2 early. We had their starter on the ropes

I remember very clearly that Fla's starter in Game 2 WAS indeed "on the ropes" and being smacked around pretty good -- a hit or two with bases loaded and LSU might have won it all in 2 Games.

Still felt like down 3-7 with 2 outs and Tanks coming to bat with the bases loaded that we had a chance to get back into it.
