I pay $25 a month for a T mobile 5g hotspot to use as a back up. Its well worth the money and I put the kids devices on the Tmobile network and run all my stuff on our gigablast mesh network. They will run through some data and the cox limits are generous but not unlimited without paying an extra $50 a month.

When I lost power last hurricane my fiber (ATT) stayed active. Just had to plug ONT and modem/router into generator.
