Told this story before.

About twenty years prior my current ex asked me why they planted pecan trees in rows. I, very straightforward, told her because if they planted them too close together they would grab each other roots and be pulled down into the ground.

So, 20 years go by and my ex, whom I communicated with very little, calls me at work and is very upset. She hears some group of people talking about pecan trees and she inserts my little bit of wisdom.

What makes it even worse is that she is a very intelligent lady. Yeah, she was mad.
