I once folded the towels improperly. I then folded them properly the next time but placed them in the cabinet backwards. I then further exacerbated the situation by giving guests the wrong towel(s) to use when they visited.
coup de grâce - I mistakenly washed to people towels with the cleaning towels.

I once made the grave error of using the decorative embroidered towel she hangs on the oven handle to wipe off the kitchen counter
