Sark being their coach does not help, long term for them, I agree there. Texas is more likely to implode in the SEC than explode. However, Mack was looked at as a cornerstone of the class. Hopefully LSU can keep him and McKinley in-state. Not one that’s about the doom and gloom and ultimately trust Kelly and company as well as their development, but McKinley and Mack would be crucial pieces for the class and help shape the future of LSU.

When Texas is 7-5 at the end of the season and LSU is 11-1 or 12-0, let's see what the recruiting situation looks like . . .

I would be mad if they don't pull mack but mckinley is who they cannot afford to lose.

You just can't lose elite dl/ol in your backyard.

Corner will be fine once bates jumps on board.

I wouldn't be surprised if mack doesn't like all the competition. I guarantee you Texas is negatively recruiting by pointing out all the guys we are taking.

This. Mack is slow with the pads on.

You say this as if recruits actually care about on the field performance.

Texas over the last 4 years:

2019: 8-5
2020: 7-3
2021: 5-7
2022: 8-5

Florida over the last 4 years:

2019: 11-2
2020: 8-4
2021: 6-7
2022: 6-7

Texas A&M over the last 4 years:

2019: 8-5
2020: 9-1
2021: 8-5
2022: 5-7

LSU over the last 4 years:

2019: 15-0, National Champions, SEC Champions, GOAT team
2020: 5-5
2021: 6-7
2022: 10-4, SEC West Champions

LSU has achieved significantly more over last 4 years than Texas, Texas A&M, and Florida. Doesn't matter. Florida has gone 6-7 the last two seasons yet has a top 4 class on every recruiting service with almost 20 guys committed. Texas A&M went 5-7 last year and just passed LSU in the recruiting rankings despite having fewer commitments. Texas has a higher average player rating than LSU and is set to pass us when they receive more commitments.

These other schools have been absolute garbage in recent years yet they have no trouble bringing in elite players. We won the SEC West in Brian Kelly's first year here. Is that really helping us right now recruiting? Doesn't seem like it.

Kids aren't going to care about whether a major program goes 5-7, 8-4, or 10-3 in a given year, as the current recruiting rankings clearly demonstrate.

All 4 teams have been inconsistent over the past 4 years. But TX and LSU appear to be on the upswing more than aTm and FL. However, I can't help but think that the Aggies will do better this year based upon their talent alone (and possibly Bobby P even though I can't stand him).

I hope yall understand our NIL stuff is nowhere even close to its potential. This is what it looks like when most of our fanbase basically hates the NIL.

Whats it going to look like when they realize all they have to do is donate a very small amount of their disposable income to ensure we have a roster stacked with 5 stars?

For that matter, whats it going to look like for LSU when both Texas and A&M have their NIL stuff fully up and running and both have competent coaches?

We will have unlimited amounts of resources and energy to compete in the SEC if we don’t completely stumble out of the gate. Basically your only hope is our fanbase continues to be too stupid to realize how easily we could grind you into dust.

Never underestimate the ability of UT alumni to meddle in the athletic program and wreck it.

LSU will be waiting for their choice selections when players jump ship for the portal.

The last time we had a legit money program and were playing the game the way its played in the SEC, we won a championship. Most of that money disappeared bc the people behind it were Mack guys and they got their championship. We have been a complete shitshow ever since, and have struggled mightily to get up and running again. We still arent even close to where we could/should be because most of our $$$ guys hate the NIL and don’t think Sark is the guy. What you are seeing now is just the beginning of a positive cycle for our program.

I get it. It’s summer time. Texas is back and feeling good.

I’d love to come back to this 3 years from now so we can repeat the cycle.

I’m glad you’re here because you represent the delusion that’s rampant amongst longhorn and aggy fans. All the in fighting between boosters at both schools isn’t going away any time soon. Y’all will rarely if ever get out of your own way.

This is very true. I havent once said on this board that we are about to start winning big. I'm saying we are gonna take players that were previously going to LSU. Its already happening.

Take players, we had one of your better returning players, transfer to LSU. Ovie Oghoufo, 96 tackles and 14 TFL, maybe he sees who’s trending up and who’s trending down?
