I don’t or have never owned a “pit bull” (the reason I put in quotes is because when you volunteer at a shelter you realize the vast majority of mutts get called “Pitt mixes”)…they are all fine family dogs but vast majority euthanized because shelters are too full

You only ever hear about pitt bulls killing people, but when you look at the facts they aren’t mutts but rather true American Staff Terriors or American Pitt Bulls that are contained in a small space their entire life, used for breeding, and are in heat. The owners breed monsters and have no sense of owning it as a “pet”, it’s an object used for status and monetary gain.

Pitt mixes adopted from shelters and living with normal families are just dogs

But if you have small kids or a small dog, even the super small risk isn’t really worth it IMO
