Bresse was good in college on a major program playing big boy ball, he just had injury/family issues.

Penning's game had major holes that were not as apparent due to his shite competition in college, but became glaring in the NFL, and we haven't seen them fixed.

Both are good athletes for the position.

Penning had his struggles early on. The coaches said they were seeing improvement as he got more practice and playing time until he got injured. There is a fairly long learning curve coming from College particularly from Northern Iowa so I think they expected it to take a while but I don't think they factored in the injury.
Bresse is a specimen. Keep in mind he hasn't had a football related injury since 2021. His issues in 2022 was the death of his sister and a kidney infection.
That's a great sign if he's coming in just weeks before camp in top form. I'm not going to worry about either of the two until there is reason to worry.
