Fools gold shell, if you think that Pels paint and PnR play (winning numbers) had significant influence on that rating. Coach Green and Collins had Pels playing really good team defense with heavy switching, but a deeper dive into paint numbers like opponents FG% show where Pels weaknesses lies. When Val plays he provides interior presence but teams target him by bringing him out to the perimeter and exploiting his slow feet. This is why Coach Green used Nance so much at the pivot.
